PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) -Hundreds of fans flocked to Cam Johnson’s lemonade stand in Phoenix on Monday afternoon. The Suns forward made a friendly bet with teammate Mikal Bridges on who would come out on top for the Super Bowl: Bengals or Rams. Johnson bet on the Bengals and had to pay up and host “Cam’s Lemonade Stand.”

“We’re at Cam’s lemonade stand; you know the loser of the bet has to make a lemonade stand. We have the loser right here. How you doing, Cam?” asked Bridges. “You know, busy. It’s going to be a fun day, fun day,” Johnson replied.

Johnson set up the lemonade stand at Los Olivos Park near 32nd Street and Indian School Road. Several other teammates showed up, including Chris Paul, Cameron Payne, and Bridges. Johnson, sporting a Bengals Ja’Marr Chase jersey, passed out lemonade and cookies to eager fans.

“You know, I thought we’ll be there for an hour get 60 maybe 100 people...people will catch wind of it maybe a few more. I got a text at 2, and there are 300 people outside, and I was like, ‘oh man, this is adding up quick.’ It was quite the experience. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a big honor to be out here in the community,” said Johnson.

Fans raised $5,000 at the stand, and all proceeds will be donated to Phoenix Suns charities.
